Happy Birthday to my Dearest Baby BOY!!!

I had to post this before going to bed. Yes we did his birthday party already, but today was the actual big day! We had some tiramasu and icecream (yummy!) and he got his present from us! It was a very mellow night, but nevertheless, such a celebratory day! Happy 1st birthday my dear baby! We are so blessed! Here is a photo of him arriving in this world exactly one year ago, and fast forwarding a year....voila! Of course his proud big sister that is so anxious to help him learn it ALL!

Cold as Ice

Once again, I have no idea where I got this kit from. It appears from the file names that it was once possibly a blog train that I downloaded from several designers. I know that I downloaded it when I first began downloading before I knew that it was really important to give credit where credit is due. So, I will say that in my own defense. It is called cold as ice, and I am sure that it had to be a blog train from a now unremembered website. I had more pictures to use from our extreme amounts of snow that we got this winter, and I could not allow them to go unused on the hard drive...I just had to give them a home. I hope you enjoy them!

Frosticles

I have officially had a moment and I can't recall for the life of me where I got this kit from. I THINK I downloaded it from the member gallery on Digital Candy I am so sorry oh unknown desingner! I wish so much to give you the credit as this was such a fun kit to use. Frosty came together so easily. Aren't my kids so cute...There may not be anything better than watching your children have so much fun in the snow. It truly brings the child out in all of us!

He believed in me

I have had this itch to use these photos, and the kit Let it Rock by Vickis Work in Progress. It is no longer a freebie but you can find it in her store. I already used this kit, just a week or so ago, but the papers and colors were perfect and had to go together! I think they turned out great!

Its a Spring thing!

Ok, garsh, I have not posted the GREAT news! I applied for a couple Creative teams to make layouts using kits created by designers...And I made some teams! How absolutely awesome is that!!!
So I have been hard at work, learning the ins and outs and where tos and whens of what I need to do as a CT member.
I have made some guest spots in the upcoming months, but for now, my permanent CT homes will be with Pixie Perfect CT. The designer Holly seems very nice and I look forward to sharing future kits, layouts and links here! So keep your eyes open for more to come from her at Digital Candy.
Next spot is with 3Scrapateers! Yiippppeee! They are revamping their site and have a great new team I am so excited to get to work with. My first kit I used from 3 scrapateers was called Its a Spring thing by Pyralis Designs. It was such a fun bright kit to use and really made me find my happy place after all this rain that we have had. I so easily found these photos to use on the pages! What a great kit to help bring out the bright side of anything! Here are my pages I came up with!

My husband is the GREATEST!!!

Okay so I had to take a minute before going to bed to say how much I love my husband. I had mentioned to him today that I happened to spot a Guess purse at the store today and fell in love with it...but due to its rather high price point, I disregarded ever owning this coral beauty. However, he caught me offgaurd tonight walking in during dinner carrying...yup you guessed it! My purse! I know, I hear it .....aaaawwweeee! How sweet! Just had to say I sure love his attentivness and desire to keep the wife happy! I will post a photo of it tomorrow in case you are wondering what the mystery purse looks like. No it isn't coach or Vera Bradley, but it is mine, and I love it!!!

Yup, I sure did post pictures of my purse...faith is just as excited about it as I am too! LOL

Let it rock layouts are done!

I have been on a roll the last couple of days. It has been eating me alive to use these papers and embellishments. I knew when I saw the preview of the whole kit that I had to go back and use the photos I took of Faith on career day when she was 4. The kit was a collab called Let it rock by two of my FAVS Vickis work in progress and Sweet Blossom Designs I hope you enjoy our little rockstar as much as we do!

Faiths first catch

So I happened upon this website when I was uploading some freebies from the blog train. Kalo designs she just happened to be having a call for some people to design a couple pages using one of her kits. YIIPPPEEE! So I emailed her and much to my surprise, I found myself creating a double page layout using this great kit called Spring garden . It was a very fun kit to work with and best of all, it is 50% off in her store right now! I revisited some photos that I took a couple years ago, but happen to be some of Faiths Grandmas favorite pics...and mine too! Hope you love them!

Lattins Cider Mill

This week I pulled up some old photos from Fall 2007. We used to have so much fun visiting the cider mill in Olympia WA when we lived close by. They for sure had the BEST fresh apple fritters you could ever taste, and fresh cider that they made there! I would always buy all our apples there, (which I ate daily while pregnant with the kids). So when Mels Lightbulb moments teamed up to collab with Charlies Digiscraps to create this fabulous kit called Applespice and all things nice, I had to find our cider pics! Enjoy! One more fun post today!

My baby is almost 1!

A couple things come to mind tonight...First of all, my baby is almost 1! I just can't believe it...but we all say that don't we. I have sort of excepted that my baby girl is almost 6 but it does seem like yesterday that I was learning how to change a boys diaper. Crazy. My sister was visiting this past weekend, and she snapped this great photo of him. The other one was taken of Faith and her two cousins Hope and Tyra at my Grandmas memorial. Aren't they all just adorable?(Faith was names after them) And Oh yes, Princess came home today from the vet...she is on antibiotic and pain meds for a while. I think a bit angry with us, and I get that, I will give that to her, but she is definetly quiet...it is sure nice

Teatime party with friend Chloe

Faith attended the cutest birthday party two weekends ago, and the little girls parents were so kind as to share the photos they took. How cute are the girls. It was the most precious party, and the little girls were so sweet. Faith had a great time and won't quit talking about this party. I did a couple layouts with the photos to share with Chloes mom, and of course here on my blog. I am super sick so I am going to keep this short. I used a kit from Gotta pixel for their daily download last month called Forever friends.

I'm already there

One of my favorite digital scrapbooking sites has different challenges each month. One of the challenges is a lyrical challenge where you can create a layout based off of a song. This week the song is "I'm already there" by Lonestar. Which is an amazing song. I knew I had to participate. My first encounter with this song was 5 1/2 years ago when I was pregnant with Faith and Keith was getting ready to deploy for Iraqi freedom. Everytime I heard this song over the months while he was gone, I would think of him and his fight for our freedom. I hope you love these layouts. I think they turned out awesome. I used a kit called Rustic Walk by Vicki's Work in Progress Remember she has retired her old kits, so if you want to get them, you will need to visit her store and purchase them. Happy Scrapping!!! I love these layouts!

something wierd is happening

I logged on today, and found my blog was missing the posting section. Where did it go?

Ok, wierd, now it's back after I posted this section. Lets see if it goes anywhere again.

A beautiful rainbow

February 2 on the way home from the store, we saw our first rainbow of the year, and it was a beautiful one! Of course I had to photograph it. Since it was Hudsons nap time, Faith had to grab ahold of the moment and pose to her best! She is a wonderful model for me!lol. It was Dr Seuss's birthday, so she wore jammies to school(that is another story for another post). But long story short, she did not want to go out wearing her pajamas. This is why she has her jammies on in the photos though. You didn't even notice till I mentioned it though right! I used a kit called Fresh. It was a collab by stolen moments and digi-designs by Nicole
Let see if that link worked again. I am having a heck of time with linking websites today.

Playing with daddy

I totally had a laid back day today. Hudson has taken a couple long naps, Faith had school and gymnastics, so I have taken advantage of the quiet time and scrapped two of my favorite guys! I used the kit "My Guy" by Stacy Towers
Lets see if that works.lol
It was so much fun to do these pages. I just let things fall where they landed and kept going. Not too much thought to these pages. But I normally do things that way I guess. I don't normally think about the layouts. I let the chips land where they may.
Another exciting step. I have applied for a creative team. I am very excited, but really don't know what to expect. I should find out March 6 or thereafter. If it doesn't work out, this is just the beginning. I know I have said that before.
As I continue to post my pages, I love to see how many people have viewed my layouts on the different websites that I go to. Remember the one that I was so excited about a couple days ago? My favorite one of Hudson where I blended him...It is already up near 150 views! That is awesome! I just love that people are loving what I am doing! There is also one of Faith called Fillin mommys shoes that has topped 100 now too and climbing. I will post that below too. Yiippppeee. I so love this.
Thank you friend Stephanie for introducing me to this wonderful hobby!

I used a kit called Swanky by Shel Belle Scraps
It was a huge kit...I love it!!!

Attaching a link

I wanted to attach a link, and see if it works. Here is my digi-land friend Tammys blog that was so kind to help me with my link problems that I am having. Lets see if this works.

crossing fingers!!!
I am going to work on either a Rainbow photo tonight or photos from my Dear hubby getting sick last year. It was awful, but since he never gets sick, so I have to document it. I lost the photos until recently and thought, I need to get them put in a page. Okay, here we go....lets see if it works.

Nope not working. hmmmm

Berklee

My friend Emily sent my family these photos of her new baby and their older two children meeting her in the hospital. She got very sick and was in the NICU so it took time before their little man could meet her. They have such a beautiful family don't they? We don't live nearby them anymore, but I wanted to do something special for them after her arrival. Best Wishes George family! Congratulations! The kit I used was designed by Monique Drost, and was a download a day from 3scrapateers. I am not sure how to link you to that kit. I will have to look into that. I don't know how to even find it after the month is over. Hmmm. I just emailed her and told her how much I enjoyed her kit. Here is a link to 3 scrapateers:
http://www.3scrapateers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15636
I don't think my links are working. I am going to have to look into that. Maybe someone knows why...sorry designers. I am trying.lol
