LATE RESOLUTIONS

I have decided to take some time to devote to trying to update my blog.  I want to change a few things and add some things that I want to share with you.  For now I am starting small.  I am nowhere near the computer genious that I wish I was so this will no doubt take quite some time.  I will just say that for now I intend on making an active effort to continue to try new things out and try my best to learn more about blogger.  I guess in a way this is a LATE EXTREMELY LATE new years resolution.

So here is a my attempt for the night.  The strikethrough and background change.  Did anyone notice I added snow several weeks ago?  I guess I need to look at taking that off now!lol

I Heart You

In perfect time Melissa Daniel has released this wonderful kit for all your little valentines in your life! I can't wait to get some new photos of my little girl at her school valentine party to throw some pages together for her. If you rush over to scrapable right now, the kit is on sale 50% off for only $2.75!!! How awesome is that! Check out the preview and what I did with it.

Scrap Gratia Artis volume 3 Circular Reasoning Template

I have found a new website that I have briefly mentioned getting on the creative team over there. I received my first assignment and chose to work with a template kit set from Altered Seas called Scrap Gratia Artis volume 3: Circular Reasoning. (Just click on the link and it will take you to her store at DigiScrapDriveIn.) It has been many many moons since I worked with a template. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. I didn't have to worry about what peices were going where or anything. It was a nice break though I did feel like I was cheating a little bit. It was awesome to get to sit back and drag and drop and choose the colors that I wanted and just put them where I wanted them to be. When I chose to work with the templates, I also needed a kit to fill the holes right? Of course. So I chose to work the with daily download kit called Renew also over at DSDI. This month is by Daybreak Scraps and Mad Genious Designs. So I will also include a link to their stores over at DSDI. I mentioned this Daily download a few posts down too! If you have missed too much, just head on over and for a small fee you can grab the kit all at once instead of waiting!!!

Peek at the templates and what I created!

Icey Winter by JJ Scrapping

I have had some great opportunities to play with some awesome kits from my new CT that I am now on over at JJ Scrapping. The latest one you can find over at Digi Design Resort or Go Digital Scrapping called Icey Winter. It is not her newest kit by any means but a fabulous one for sure! I loved this kit and all its beautiful colors. Very much a winter kit but very simple for those non-snowy photos! I just loved it!

Here are the pages I created and peak at the kit!

Flavor of the month kit Memories at DSDI

I have recently been accepted onto the creative team at DigiScrapDrive In. This is a new site for me and I am so excited to begin to explore new some new designers and a new site. So far all the ladies have been amazing and so kind in welcoming me to the team. My first kit that I got to work with was called Memories. It is the current flavor of the month so no more sitting there go check it out.

Here is what it looks like and what I did with it.

Daily Download at DSDI

Here is a sneaky peak at the Daily Download being offered January 15-28th over at DigiScrapDriveIn. This month Jewel (Mad Genious Designs) and Daybreak Scraps have teamed up together to bring you this wonderful kit!

RAH RAH SIS BOOM BAH

Several weeks back I asked one of my designers Melissa Daniel (I am on her Creative team), if she could create a cheerleader so I could design a thank you card for my daughter to make some cards with. She was so kind and became inspired to run with the idea. Well voila! I now present to you RAH RAH SIS BOOM BAH. I was so excited to sit and play with it to create a couple layouts, and then my family came down with another battle of the yuckies. I am feeling better, but my poor little man, isn't. I am taking him in to the dr today. He seems to have had a tough 20 months of battling everything from the common cold, to ear infections to the flu bugs to bronchitis. It is so hard having sickies in your house and when your little ones are knocked down by the bugs, even more difficult. He has gotten some rest which allowed me to finally get a couple pages done. I would love to share the kit with you. Run over to Scrapdish and pick it up for $5.50. And if you like what you see go check out her blog. She always has something great going on, I really enjoy reading it!

Winter Sparkle Red Kit

Ok so I mentioned in my last post that while I was over checking out some new creative teams I could apply for, I found a one kit call for wind it up. (the kit I last worked with.) However when I sent her a quick application, I mentioned my search for some new teams. Long story short, I am now on Jenns team (aka JJ Scrapping)!!! I am sooooooo excited. I have now played with another kit called Winter Sparkle Red which you can find over at Go Digital Scrapbooking. I just love her style and can't wait to dive into another. Heaven knows I have so many photos to get caught up on. Amazing how behind you can get in just a few months if you don't stay on top of it. I am praying for some extra time, however, my extra time lately has been caring for sick kiddies. So enjoy the pages I did, and run over to GDS and pick up her kit!!!

I was recently over at Digishop talk hunting around for some new teams to work on. I kind of have been a bit lazy after a couple of my designers retired, and I was super sad...but now the time has come and thus my search began. I happened across this GORGEOUS kit called Wind it up designed by JJ Scrapping over at Digi Design Resort. I am honored that she accepted my request to work with it. You should head over to Digi Design Resort and check out all the pages that she got! They are beautiful! And everyone truly did the kit justice. It is such a great kit and the possibilities on what to do with it are just endless. So don't sit there!!! Run over to DDR and check out the kit and all the pages all of the amazing talent came up with!

I made 9 different Christmas cards this year. I wasn't 100% happy with each one so I kept on keeping on with it until I realized that I had 9 different designs...which made it difficult to send them because then I had to decide who was getting what card. So I wanted to share with you my 2 favorite cards of the 9 that I did. I will be back later with the others to share them too!

Happy Jolly Days is RELEASED!

Cathy K's great kit released today! It is such a Happy Jolly kit, I just can't stand it! I did a couple pages with it as well as a simple little recipe card for a cookie exchange for my daughter. We didn't make homemade cookies...rather brought boxed bars that we did make. (The kitchen is not a strong point of mine). Here is a preview of the kit. You can find it at her store at SBE or head over to her blog to grab her goodies she is releasing for the 12 days of Christmas. Also some of the other members of our CT have made some great frame clusters to throw your way, and best of all, their price can't be beat!!! FREE! The kit is 25% off now through midnight CST Monday.

I'm here I'm here!

I have some goodies in the works headed your way. I can't believe I have been so neglectful of my blog. I feel so bad. If my blog is neglected that means that my CT's have been neglected. What can I say? My family has taken top priority now that Christmas is in full swing. What I know is that after the turn of the year things always seem to mellow back out and I have nothing but time to sit up until midnight scrapping my heart out! OOOOO, which reminds me, winter break is almost here for my DD and that means sleeping in, which means, staying up to the wee hours of the morning, taking care of my oh so neglected photos! But let me be the first to tell you, my Christmas cards turned out SOOOOOOO cute! I did 9 different styles that I intend on converting into scrapbook pages eventually. But for now, my wonderful Creative team that I am on (Cathy you are wonderful for being so patient with me) is getting ready to release a new kit called Happy Jolly Days on the 20th! They just keep getting better and better. So if you just can't wait for the kit, run over to Cathys blog to grab her freebies she is giving away for her 12 days of Christmas! You can get your hands on a coordinating alpha, word tiles, gift tags, and kit add on. This kit is really something you don't want to miss. It is just sooooo cute! Maybe now is the time to come up with some New Years Resolutions? Awe why even try to not neglect my helpless little blog in the corner of the world? It is just inevitable right now. I promise though, I will be back with my christmas cards that are just sooooo cute!

Deck the Halls by Cathy Krenek

Let me first say that I can't believe the holidays are upon us. I am totally floored creating these Christmas pages, (of course using photos from last year) but, PEOPLE, they are already playing Christmas music in the stores!!! What happened to the year? Where did it go? That gives me an idea for a scrapbook. I really need to document important events each month. Maybe that can be my New Years Resolution. I could never do 365 photos. One every day. Could you imagine? I know some people do, but I am not that devoted yet. Although I do take a ton of photos. Okay enough ramblings. Let me get onto why I am really posting. It all ties together though I promise. So I mentioned how stinking awesome Cathy's kit are in my last post. Now you get to see one, and if I can get to the new Give thanks kit you are going to melt, it is so so so so cute!!! I have so many favorite photos from last year I need to get done, so I am sure you will see more of this kit, but until I can get to them, here is two I have had time to do, plus a preview of the kit. Check out her store, and keep your eyes peeled for some new upcoming goodies!

It's Your BIRTHDAY! by Cathy K

I finally got to doing My Darling daughters 6th birthday photos! She has asked for a couple of years now to have a swimming party. I wanted to have a pajama party and maybe have a couple of friends come spend the night and my wonderful friend was going to do everything for me to make this party "Martha Stewart or Oprah worthy." She begged to differ and pleaded for a swimming party. It was the same way with Hannah Montana at the Childrens Museum for her 5th party...never again will we do a childrens museum birthday party. It is a fantastic place to visit, but I am the kind of person that wants a more personal friendly tight affair with close friends and family. Not kids running all over a museum where you can't even find the kids that are in your party. NOPE. Not doing it again. Write it off as a lesson learned. Leading me into the introduction of this fantastic kit by Cathy K designs called it It's Your Birthday. Her kits just keep getting better and better. Wait until you see her Christmas and Thanksgiving kits! They are sure to knock your socks off. I am working on one more layout for her Christmas kit and then I will post a double pager for you. Until then, take a lookie at what I came up with for this one. As always you can run over to her blog or her store at Scrapbook Elements to grab the kit or see what else she may or may not be up to!!!

Fruits of the Spirit Collab kit

I am so bad about posting my LOs here lately. My designers that I create for have release dates. Which means that I can not post my LO's until the kit has released. So the date then comes and goes and I forget to post. I need to get better about it. Going back I want to make sure to get you over to Melissa Daniels store at Scrap dish to grab this beautiful collab she did with Royanna for Studio RA designs. There were several kits that went with this one collab. I have only worked with a couple so far, but do intend to work with each of them. I just have to find the right photos. Using Fruits of the spirit LOVE I made:
